Holding Grief with EFT: Walking Alongside Couples Through Profound Tragic Loss

Autumn McCain, LMFT

About This Webinar

Perinatal loss represents some of the most devastating and life-altering experiences a couple can face. The grief, trauma, and relational distress that follow can profoundly impact a couple's emotional connection and ability to support one another. This presentation explores how therapists and support professionals can compassionately walk alongside couples during this journey, utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as a guiding framework. Through theoretical exploration, experiential activities, and group discussion, participants will deepen their understanding of the complex emotional landscape couples navigate after loss and develop skills to offer compassionate, effective support as couples journey through grief, trauma, and healing—together.
