About The Collaborative
The National Perinatal Loss Collaborative is a growing community of healthcare professionals, hospitals, and organizations working together to improve care for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.
Through education, connection, consultation, and shared resources, we are advancing compassionate, evidence-informed bereavement care across the country.
You are not alone in this work
Providers caring for families after pregnancy and infant loss often navigate this work with limited training, few resources, and little opportunity to connect with others who understand its unique challenges.
The National Perinatal Loss Collaborative was created to bridge those gaps by bringing together providers, hospitals, and community organizations committed to improving bereavement care through shared learning, collaboration, and support.
Compassion
Supporting grieving families requires supporting the people who care for them. We promote reflection, resilience, and provider well-being while honoring the emotional impact of this work.
Our Values
Excellence
Families deserve compassionate, evidence-informed care. We are committed to advancing knowledge, skills, and confidence through ongoing education, training, and professional growth.
Equity
Every family deserves access to high-quality bereavement care, regardless of geography, identity, culture, language, or resources. We strive to reduce disparities and improve access to support, education, and best practices.
Community & Connection
Perinatal bereavement care should never be practiced in isolation. We foster meaningful relationships among providers, hospitals, and communities to create a national network of shared learning, support, and belonging.
