Pregnancy Loss and Infant Death Alliance (PLIDA) Conference

NEW ORLEANS, LA – In May, Return to Zero: Hope's Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Kiley Hanish attended the Pregnancy Loss and Infant Death Alliance (PLIDA) Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. RTZ shared an exhibitor table with Jane's Room, providing an opportunity to connect with professionals from across the country who are working to improve support and care for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.

The conference offered valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and learning while highlighting innovative programs and emerging best practices in bereavement care.

RTZ and Jane's Room also shared information about the National Perinatal Loss Collaborative, a growing learning community designed to improve perinatal bereavement care through education, resources, consultation, and peer connection. Developed through a partnership between the two organizations, the Collaborative currently includes 16 hospital members and continues to expand its reach to hospitals, community organizations, and individual providers nationwide.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from colleagues, strengthen partnerships, and continue advancing compassionate, evidence-informed care for bereaved families.
